in two linked rain barrels.
Overflow travels
through a "rumble strip" in the pavement,
painted to celebrate the water's downhill path
across the existing asphalt,
into the sand and garden play area.
It brings children the opportunity
to explore
and wonder about
the weather...
water...
gravity...
time...
and so much more."
